Jane Boyle's Holistic
Health Care Skills Courses
Jane developed several courses and taught them year-round for the staff at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children from 2001 to 2008, and at Toronto's Sheena's Place, a support centre for people with eating disorders, from 2000 to 2009. These 15-40 page courses are carefully researched, clearly written, and beautifully illustrated. They can be taught over a series of weekly classes, or on group retreats.
Most recently, Jane added a sixth course to this series with Anatomy for Yoga Teachers, and taught this course for the 2010 Inspired Life Flowyoga Teacher Training Program.
The Chakras
An excellent study for students of yoga and folks on an inward journey, this 8-hour, 30-page course explores the ancient yogic system of energy anatomy which encompasses the body's 7 energy centres, known as the chakras.
We will utilize:

This comprehensive, 40-page study for teachers of yoga draws from Jane's anatomical and physiological training as a Registered Massage Therapist, and from her experience as a yoga student and teacher. Exploration includes:

* A study of specific foot problems, with
approaches to resolving them.
Chinese Acupressure for
Headaches, Stress and Insomnia
Explore basic Chinese Meridian Theory and gentle, highly effective acupressure techniques. Learn how to utilize this specific acupressure sequence daily or as needed, to:

* Inspire a new sense of calm;
* Prevent/alleviate headaches; and
* Promote the renewing effects of a sound
nightly sleep.
